Visitors

What should I expect?
At Pine Ridge our visitors and members are of all ages and wearing whatever they feel most comfortable coming to church in. We have greeters at the north doors who can help guide you to our sanctuary or Welcome Center. Our friendly Welcome Committee members can answer your questions and help guide you in the right direction.

Where should I park?
Pine Ridge's main parking lot is located on the north side of our building.  This lot is accessible from Barry Road directly across from Park Hill High School, and from N. Congress Avenue approximately 1/2 block north of Barry Road.

What if I am not a member?
Each of our members was once a visitor, so we know just how you feel!  During worship you'll notice a black notepad at the end of each pew.  Be sure to sign it (both members and visitors do each week) and pass it down the row so we'll know you were here.  Also, please fill out one of our first time visitor cards located in the pews.

Which service should I attend?
Pine Ridge Church offers both contemporary and traditional worship services, so if you don't find the style you're looking for on your first visit, please come back and try another service.

What should I wear?
We definitely don't have a dress code here, so just wear what you feel most comfortable coming to worship in!  You'll see people dressed in everything from jeans and shorts to slacks and skirts.

What if I have children?
Children begin each worship service with their parents in the sanctuary.  For infants we offer a cry room adjacent to the sanctuary.  Infants also are welcome on Sunday mornings in our fully staffed nursery located in the education wing of the church beginning beginning at 9:15. Sunday School begins at 9:45 a.m. when children join others their own age outside the sanctuary doors and walk together to class.  During the 11:00 a.m. service, children ages 4-7 are invited to participate in Godly Play, a worship service for kids.  Also during that service, special activities are offered for kids ages 2-3 in the education wing.  For children who wish to stay with their parents during worship, activity sheets and crayons are located outside the sanctuary doors.  For more information, please visit the Welcome Center.
