Our Staff

My family has been coming to Pine Ridge since I was born but like many families, changing schedules and busy lives made us less and less active in the church over time. I hadn't been back in PR for years but through a random set of events I ended up volunteering for the praise band as a vocalist/instrumentalist in Spring 2022 and over time seeing the need for volunteers in the youth group called me to volunteer my time and efforts for PR's youth ministry. I'm currently also working as a teacher in a middle school autism classroom while I also am pursuing a career in music and art.

 

I never saw myself working in a teacher type role growing up (I studied graphic design in college) but it never ceases to amaze me that I don't feel out of place in my position despite how unexpected it has been. The youth inspire me to be the best version of myself and to be a role model they can look up to and find solidarity in. The importance of my job is not lost on me and every day I strive to learn, grow, and work to help represent god's love in every action I take. I’m looking forward to growing with PR and seeing where god takes us.
